The Legacy of #12

The story of South Jersey Crimson Tide Baseball cannot be told without Chase Yoachum.

Chase's passion for baseball, love for his teammates, and impact on everyone around him helped inspire the foundation of this program. Although Chase passed away on June 23, 2025, his legacy continues to guide our organization every day.

In honor of Chase and the lasting influence he had on our baseball family, jersey number #12 has been permanently retired throughout the South Jersey Crimson Tide Baseball program.

No player, coach, or staff member will ever wear #12.

His legacy lives on through every athlete who wears a Crimson Tide uniform and through the values our organization was built upon: character, accountability, teamwork, leadership, and love for the game.

Forever Crimson Tide. Forever #12.

Program Philosophy

Five Pillars.

Development

Individualized improvement plans.

Character

Team-first, family-strong.

Competition

Elite tournaments and showcases.

Baseball IQ

Situational mastery and instincts.

Accountability

Earn it every rep.

Player Development Approach

Every player gets a defined growth plan: position-specific drills, video review, strength benchmarks, and recruiting touchpoints. Practice has a curriculum not just reps.

Coaching Standards

Our coaches bring college and high-school playing experience and a teaching-first mindset. Expect intensity, expect clarity, and expect to be coached hard because we're invested in your son's ceiling.

Community Involvement

We support local youth baseball, sponsor clinics for younger players, and volunteer at South Jersey field improvement days. Crimson Tide invests back into the community that supports it.

Family Commitment

Travel baseball is a family commitment. We communicate clearly, plan well in advance, and respect everyone's time because trust starts with how the organization is run.
